Rafael Nadal is set to kick off his hard court season campaign against Canadian Wildcard Jesse Levine, while Andy Murray will open his Montreal Masters stint with a second round face-off against Marcel Granollers of Spain. On the distaff side, Serena Williams is also scheduled to hit the court against former French Open Champion Francesca Schiavone.

Nadal, who missed all hard court tournaments last season because of a nagging knee injury, made his return in the Rogers Cup with expectations still high to win this tournament.

Facing Nadal in the second round will be 25-year-old Levine, who earned a meeting with the 12-time Grand Slam champion after his 6-4, 7-6 win over Xavier Malisse of Belgium.

Murray, the defending Wimbledon and U.S. Open champion, emerged as the top contender for this season, following his epic win at the All England Club. The Briton's first assignment will be Granollers, who's coming off a 6-4, 6-4 win over Maria Sharapova's boyfriend Grigor Dimitrov.

Meanwhile, Williams is set to begin another campaign for a Grand Slam title as she takes on Schiavone. The former French Open champ moved on to the second round with a three-set win over Chanelle Scheepers of South Africa 2-6, 6-3, 6-3.

Other interesting matches for Day 4 of Montreal Masters/ Rogers Cup are the games between Caroline Wozniacki and Sorona Cristea, David Ferrer and Alex Bogomolov Jr. Samanta Stosur and Suarez Navarro, and Tomas Berdych and Alexander Dologopolov.
