"Modern Family" Season 5 is finally nearing to the finale. Today the last episode of the season will air and the fans will finally get to see Mitch and Cam exchanging vows. The last episode of "Modern Family" Season 5 was a wedding disaster as Cam rushed to the dry cleaner in the last minute to get his tuxedo and the wedding had to be shifted due to wildfire at the venue.

The last episode of the season will finally see the biggest wedding on the television, as Cam and Mitch will walk down the aisle, as per the reports.

Eric Stoneheart who plays the lovable character of Cam in the film talked about his last minute rush to get a tuxedo that.

"I don't necessarily know that in real life anyone would wait until the day of their wedding to pick up their tuxedos," said Eric to TV Guide Magazine, adding, "but that's what we have."

Apparently, the cast and crew of the film are quite proud of the fact that Cam and Mitch are getting hitched and it is being considered a milestone in the history of US television.

"For a lot of people in America, this will be the first gay wedding that they ever get to attend," Jesse Tyler who plays Mitch (and who recently married his partner Justin Mikita) told the magazine. "I have a lot of friends who have been together even longer than Mitch and Cam, and they are finally able to exchange vows. So it is very poignant and meaningful to me to be able to bring this relationship into so many living rooms and also into the pop-culture zeitgeist."

According to Movienewsguide, the cast of the series got really emotional while shooting for the finale. Nolan Gould and Sarah Hyland were reportedly in tears during the wedding and for Julie Bowen the finale is one of the most meaningful episodes.
