Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman) will be back soon with a new adventure. The second movie in "The Hobbit" movie trilogy, "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug," is slated to hit the theatres on December 13, 2013 and a new trailer of the movie was released on Tuesday.

In the new trailer of the movie, the star attraction is the voice of Sherlock -- Benedict Cumberbatch, who plays the titular role of dragon Smaug, the "large and very dangerous dragon" and the main antagonist of "The Hobbit."

In addition to Martin Freeman as Bilbo Baggins, the new trailer also features Richard Armitage as Thorin Oakenshield, and Orlando Bloom as Legolas. The trailer suggests that Legolas will be wooing elf warrior Tauriel (Evangeline Lilly). Ian McKellen reprises his role of Wizard Gandalf.

"The Hobbit" movie trilogy is based on J.R.R. Tolkien's epic, magical adventure "The Hobbit." The first movie of the series, "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey," was released on November 28, 2012.
