Arsenal will be hosting Stoke City at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday in the English Premier League.

The Gunners are fresh from a 2-0 triumph against Olympique de Marseille in the Champions League.

It was a tightly contested game until forward Theo Walcott found the net at 65 minutes after kick-off.

In-form midfielder Aaron Ramsey followed-up barely 18 minutes after Walcott scored. He has also found the net twice in their recent Premiership game against Sunderland.

Ramsey is receiving much praise from Gunners boss Arsene Wenger and pundits alike because of his effectiveness.

"Honestly, I didn't expect him to score so many goals. He's especially improved in his passing, his technical quality," Wenger told arsenal.com.

"He was always in good positions in the box, but scoring is a bit cyclic. You have periods when it goes in and others when it doesn't. For me the most important thing is the quality of his game" Wenger told arsenal.com.

With a lot of injuries at midfield, Ramsey will surely capitalise on the opportunity given to him.

Santi Cazorla, Tomas Rosicky, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Mikel Arteta, Lukas Podolski, among others, are out due to injuries.

On the other hand, Stoke City, under controversial manager Mark Hughes, has been impressive, so far, as they sit on 7th place with 7 points across their name, only 3 points behind the top team, Liverpool.

Stoke came up with a 0-0 draw against Manchester City in their last outing, but Potters midfielder Marc Wilson still remains optimistic and feels that they can plot an upset in London.

"We will go down there on Sunday, be confident and give it a real go," Wilson told stokecityfc.com.

"The gaffer likes us to play football, move forward and create goal-scoring opportunities, and whilst we know it will be difficult at Arsenal, we know that we have the players to cause them problems."

"We showed against Manchester City that we are capable of mixing it with teams of that stature, and on another day we would have won that game comfortably."

Stoke will still be without Marc Muniesa, Ryan Shotton and Michael Kightly due to injuries.
