Hot-streaking Liverpool FC will face Swansea City AFC on Monday, September 16, in the English Premier League.

Liverpool is currently on top of the table, obtaining 9 maximum points out of their first three games.

Defense is the key for the Reds as none of their opponents scored in their three outings, while scoring one goal in each of their game courtesy of in-form striker Daniel Sturridge.

While the wins have brought elation to Anfield, Reds boss Brendan Rodgers does not plan on being content with their current status.

"We have to be vigilant going forward. It has been a good start but we can be better," Rodgers told liverpoolfc.com.

"We just need to keep getting results. We need to keep the feel-good factor going and you do that by winning games."

"We have shown in all three of our games at some stage the qualities we want."

"The quality of our football has been good and that commitment and desire to win games and our resilience has been there."

Meanwhile, Swansea occupies one of the slots in the relegation zone and is looking to step-up their game.

The Swans was one of the highly anticipated teams coming into the season because of their performance during the 2012 campaign in the league.

Michu, a reliable source of goals the previous season, has not been his old self as of late.

The Spaniard must get back in form for the Welsh club to attain similar success.

Nevertheless, the morale in the Liberty Stadium has risen following their 2-0 win against West Brom.

Swansea seems to be playing a more organised, particularly in defense, after a shellacking 4-1 defeat against united in their opening game.

This will be a very tightly-contested fixture and the team that plays better defense will have a better chance of winning.

Considering the foregoing, Liverpool will play as favourites, with in-form stopper Simon Mignolet, making the anticipating difference in the game.
