After confirming the completion of a new 5-year deal with Cristiano Ronaldo on Sunday, Real Madrid will now be having their sights at their first Champions League clash against Galatasaray.

"Cristiano Ronaldo is Real Madrid and will eternally be," Club President Florentino Perez told realmadrid.com.

"This is a great day for the club. We've made the dream of all Madridistas come true. Cristiano is and will eternally be Madrid"

The Los Blancos, who lost to Borussia Dortmund in the semi-finals during the 2012/2013 season, will be facing the Turkish giants on Tuesday.

Under the helm of new manager, Carlo Ancelloti, Real will be looking to make a statement early on in the tournament.

Record-breaking Welshman Gareth Bale, starlet Isco, Karim Benzema, and Ronaldo will be relied upon for the goal-scoring chores.

The La Liga giants are sitting on the fourth spot in their domestic league following a 2-2 draw with Villareal.

On the other hand, Galatasaray will be looking to avenge their quarter-finals defeat against Madrid during the 2012/2013 campaign.

His team scored three goals in the second leg of their quarter-finals fixture during the 2012/13 season.

However, it was not enough as Real won 5-3 on aggregate.
