European football powerhouses Bayern Munich and Chelsea will wage war once again, but this time they will contest for the coveted 2013 UEFA Super Cup at Eden Arena in Prague.

Bayern Munich, which conquered in 2012 the UEFA Champions League tournament, is all set to take on an entirely different Chelsea squad mentored by comeback head coach Jose Mourinho.

Chelsea arranged another showdown with the German football superpower after edging Portuguese football club Benfica 2-1 in the finals of the UEFA Europa League. On the other hand, Bayern Munich clinched their fifth UEFA Champions League title with a 2-1 win over Borussia Dortmund. Saturday's match marks the first time the last two UEFA Champions League champions will go head-to-head for the UEFA Super Cup.

Bayern Munich will be pinning their hopes on UEFA Player of the Year Frank Ribbery, Javi Martinez, Thomas Muller and Mario Gotze, while Chelsea will counter with the formidable quartet of Frank Lampard, Fernando Torres, Demba Ba and Eden Hazard.

In a match of this magnitude, teams are expected to evaluate first the flow of the game before they launch their attack. It will be another defensive-oriented tussle with the winner scoring the game-changing goal late in the game.
