The FIFA World Cup qualifier is heating up as the road to Brazil gets even narrower. England and Ukraine duke it out for group supremacy while Chile look to win their first game in six tries against defending World Cup champion Spain.

With David Villa, David Silva and Isco all expected to sit out, Spain will be fielding players with less international exposure but with fresher legs against a Chilean squad (which has won five of last six matches) aching to finally have that sweet taste of victory at the expense of the no.1 football nation in the world.

It has been heartbreak all over again for Chile every time they face Spain. In the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, Chile provided Spain a good fight but the Matadors leaned on goals by Andres Iniesta and David Villa to take 2-1 win in the last meeting of the group stage.

"We either take Chile seriously or we will suffer, because they compete to the highest level and are always looking to attack'' said Del Bosque in a press conference, according to ESPN FC. They have always been a very physical side when we've played them.

"We are going to use the occasion to allow everyone to participate and use the game as preparation for the matches with Belarus and Georgia next month.''

Meanwhile, England is in for a tough battle as they take on Group H power Ukraine. The English side has been undefeated in seven games with four wins and three draws (15 pts). A win on Tuesday will solidify their spot in next year's FIFA World Cup while a loss could put them in a very risky situation forward. Montenegro is still breathing down England's neck with 15 points and just one point ahead of Ukraine with 14 points.

Lastly, France is locked in a crucial battle against the already eliminated Belarus. With 3-2-1 record, France can still snatch the outright World Cup berth from Spain if they can win their last two outings against Belarus and Finland.
