Watch Pregnant Kim Kardashian's Edgy Photo Shoot For CR Fashion Book [Video]

When Kim Kardashian was eight months pregnant with North West she did a haute couture photo shoot with Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld in Paris.

The art director of shoot was Givenchy designer Ricardo Tisci who also dressed the Kim and Kanye at American Vogue's annual Met Gala. On 9 September 2013 the video of photo-shoot has been released on the magazines blog crfashionbook.com.

The bizarre photo shoot took place for former French Vogue editor Carine Roitfeld's CR Fashion Book. The fall/winter issue saw Kardashian, 32, in various states of dress and undress, flaunting her baby bump and transforming maternity into a thing of high fashion. Kardashian was styled in Givenchy, Comme de Garçons, Celine, Chanel and Ralph Lauren.

The photos are, striking, epic, flamboyant ,bold and bizarre, as seen in the behind-the-scenes video posted Monday on the magazine's blog and YouTube channel.

Kardashian posted the video on her blog too, letting it speak for itself.

"Karl Lagerfeld Ricardo Tisci & Kim Kardashian," the video title says. "Paris, May 22, 2013. The day before Kim Kardashian eight months pregnant is allowed to fly back to L.A."

The short film's music says it all: This collaboration is an intersection of historic proportions - elevated sartorialism meets reality TV and sex-tape star.

Groomed, concealed Kardashian behind an embellished Martin Margiela mask, critiqued, shot, primped and shown putting on her golden grill, featured on the magazine's cover.

"OMG the COVER of Carine Roitfeld's crfashionbook #issue3!!!" the new mom wrote last week, sharing a picture of herself on the cover. "Shot by @karllagerfeld! Thank you @riccardotisci17 #Fam #ThisIsCrazy!!!!! #Dying!!!!!"

"They are lovely together," "They are so normal," Carine Roitfeld (who started the high-fashion codex) at the N.Y.C. premiere of the new documentary film, Mademoiselle C, said in an interview withPeople

"Pregnancy is something that I always love. It's about hope and the future and a new baby,"

"This is not something for a gossip magazine that goes into the trash," "This is a magazine that is a collector's item." Roitfeld told www.eonline.com

On Friday 6 September , Kanye West attended the premiere and party Roitfeld's documentary "Mademoiselle C," and Kardashian was expected to do the same, making it her first official post-baby appearance. However, she ended up cancelling, according to People .

Roitfeld's documentary "Mademoiselle C," chronicles the beginnings of CR Fashion Book following her 10-year run at French Vogue.

Indeed Kim Kardashian has made best of her pregnancy too.
