For all "The Simpsons" fans, the makers of the epic show have launched their new couch gag and it's a must watch. Maker of the movie "Pacific Rim" Guillermo del Toro presents to us his new creation and contribution in a new couch gag for "The Simpsons" for its upcoming episode.

It is said to be one of the most elaborate couch gags in the history of the show, orchestrated carefully as the characters of the long running show turn in to hobbits. The couch gag is crafted to accompany their upcoming episode titled "4 Regrettings and a Funeral" to be aired on Sunday night on Nov.3.

Marge turns into Gandalf, Homer is Thorin Oakenshield and the kids are the Hobbiton trio as they set out for a trek. The journey begins from Springfield. And if you are wondering about their destination as they traverse Middle Earth, then don't be surprised to know that they are headed to their famed couch.

The video of the couch gag begins with Homer studying the map and then the family set out on their trek trip leaving Grandpa behind on his rocking chair. On their journey, they pass through dense forests, cross the rivers and battle harsh weather in the snow covered mountains. They pass the Gollum's cave where Moe appears as Smeagol. Then they cross the place where Carl, Barney and Lenny are enjoying beer as trolls and suddenly turn into stone once the sun rises. Later they cross an Elf hotel and then a bridge. Homer tries to steal treasure but fails as a dragon clutches him. Finally, Gandalf played by Marge zaps Nelson, Jimbo, Kearney and Jones who have become ghosts in the couch gag. And they get to the destination, couch after crossing the Middle Earth.

Just in time when the new hobbit movie"The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug" is soon approaching its release date, the couch gag is a wonderful alteration for "the Hobbit" fans. It's a delightful treat for fans of both the worlds of "The Simpsons" and "The Hobbit"

Apart from the hobbit couch gag, in the upcoming episode of "The Simpsons" a death is about to take place and four residents of Springfield are recalling some life events that they would want to do again.
