Wayne Rooney allegedly insulted Marcos Rojo after the disappointing defeat of Manchester United against Leicester City recently. Manchester United stormed to a 2-0 lead but the newly promoted Leicester City managed to take over and walked home with the 5-3 victory.

On Monday, La Gaceta reported that Rooney insulted Rojo during the game, which referred to the team captain's letting rip at the defenders just after a Leicester City goal. According to the report, the image of the 28-year-old captain yelling quickly spread and that it gave the impression that the incident was embarrassing for Rojo.

During the game, Angel di Maria scored the typical magnificent goal but Marcos Rojo had a bit of a shocker. Rojo was deployed at left back ahead of Luke Shaw and his lack of actual left back play led to a huge gap, which Leicester City took advantage.
