'Wayward Pines' season 2 episode 3 spoilers: Pam is back and Theo digs for information in ‘Once Upon a Time in Wayward Pines’

Season 2 Episode 3 of “Wayward Pines,” titled “Once Upon a Time in Wayward Pines,” will be all about revisiting the past. Viewers will know more about Jason, while fans will find out what happened to the characters from Season 1, especially Nurse Pam.

Be prepared to learn some more about Jason Higgins (Tom Stevens) not only in the present setting, but also where he came from. Questions about how Jason rose to power will be answered. Also, the episode would discuss why Theo (Jason Patric) is a very important person for the town.

The official synopsis says that a series of flashbacks would be shown. These clips would offer information why Jason became the First Generation’s leader and why he is the favoured child in Wayward Pines.

The episode will also showcase guest star Melissa Leo as Nurse Pam. She resurfaces and has evolved to be a dangerous threat to everyone. The sinister nurse was last seen in Season 1 trying to cooperate and team up with Kate Hewson (Carla Gugino). Nurse Pam was then placed into cryo-sleep. Now, Kate is dead and Nurse Pam is back.

In the video, Jason will wake up and hear a noise inside the house that he shares with Kerry Campbell (Kacey Rohl). He investigates, holding a gun. Then, he finds Nurse Pam on the couch. He talks to the townspeople about forgiving Pam.

Meanwhile, Theo will continue to dig deeper into why he specifically became a part of Wayward Pines’ population. Rebecca Yedlin (Nimrat Kaur) warns him that he should stop asking questions and inquiring about the town. However, the curious doctor insists that he could not do it. Eventually, Theo will meet Pam and there is a chance that he would get the answers to his questions, even if the truth is unpleasant.

Theo will ask what Pam knows that other townsfolk do not know. She answers “everything.” This will stun Theo, especially after knowing that Pam is the co-founder of the town. She is the sister of David Pilcher (Toby Jones) and his closest confidante. More so, she is the tool for David’s destruction, Celebrity Dirty Laundry writes.

It is observed that the show does not throw every surprise all at once to its viewers. Producers give a little bit of everything of the returning characters in installments, Cartermatt observes. Hence, if viewers want to know what happened to the Season 1 characters, they would have to watch the rest of Season 2.
