A wide selection of retro titles will soon be available for FIXPlay viewers.

In reports by the Herald Sun, the recently launched FIXPlay website will soon be the first catch-up TV website to offer classic TV titles, including dramas, sitcoms and children's programs.

FIXPlay is a venture of Ninemsn. It reportedly had up to one million users in only six weeks after it was launched. With 710,000 downloads is the Nine Network's Underbelly 3: The Golden Mile, which is the most-watched program in the site, followed by Sea Patrol and V.

Todd Forest, FIXPlay director and audience experience, said that viewers for TV websites like FIXPlay, Yahoo!7 and ABC iView have increased.

"I think it tends to compliment the experience on the television. Think about it: Underbelly is a drama series where if you miss an episode, people want to be able to catch up.

"They want to be able to see the interim show and if they don't have a chance to do that, they might not be as interested," Forest said.
