"Wentworth," starring Shareena Clanton as Inmate Doreen "Dor" Anderson, Nicole da Silva as Francesca "Franky" Doyle, Tammy Macintosh as Karen "Kaz" Proctor, Kate Jenkinson as Allie Novak, Robbie Magasiva as Deputy Governor Will Jackson and Pamela Rabe as Ex-Governor "The Freak" Joan Ferguson, aired the episode titled "Loose Ends" on Tuesday on the Showcase channel. It showed Doreen expressing an interest to be transferred to Western Australia (WA). Read on for the latest "Wentworth" 2017 episode recap.

In "Wentworth" Season 5, episode 4, Doreen applied to transfer to Western Australia. Meanwhile, Allie and Franky continued to become much closer while the latter plans her escape. As for Liz (Celia Ireland), she tried to contact Kaplan (Steve Bastoni) and is patiently waiting to be rescued by him. Plus, Ferguson proposed to take control of the drug trade in jail.

Elsewhere, Sonia (Sigrid Thornton) experiences great freedom and enjoys the high life while she's at it. Unfortunately, it appears that her happiness will be cut short soon as the scale of her crimes becomes evident. "Loose Ends" was directed by Geoff Bennett and written by Marcia Gardner.

'Loose Ends' guest stars appear alongside 'Wentworth' cast

The Australian TV drama's fourth episode in Season 5 featured appearances from stars such as Heather Lythe (Helen Masters), Rachael Maza (Imogen Fessier), Leanne Campbell (Inmate 348 (uncredited) and Bernard Curry (Jake Stewart). Katrina Milosevic (Sue 'Boomer' Jenkins), Socratis Otto (Maxine Conway) and Kate Atkinson (Vera Bennett) also starred in "Wentworth's" latest episode.

'Nothing But the Truth' episode

The episode before "Loose Ends" was "Nothing But the Truth," which aired on April 18. It was directed by Geoff Bennett and written by Pete McTighe. It showed Franky asking for Shayne's (Hunter Page-Lochard) help to prove that she's innocent. She also distanced herself from Bridget (Libby Tanner).

Unfortunately, new evidence was presented in Sonia's trial, which threw Liz off her game, enabling the former to walk free. Meanwhile, Liz is sent back to Wentworth. As for Kaz, she tried to stop the drug trade in prison to prove that she's still a strong leader. Ferguson takes advantage of this and starts plotting her return to power in jail.
