This year, the Canadian airlines, WestJet Airlines, launched its holiday sharing and giving. A wonderful and heartfelt video where they brought a snowy Christmas, to the small community of Nuevo Renacer, in the Dominican Republic.

"T'was the day before Christmas" as the narrator says, a blue sleigh was in the middle of the road. The people of were curious, but to the kids it seemed somehow excited to go look at it. To their surprise, it was Santa Clause.

Santa was there to greet them and asked what they wanted for Christmas. For the kids, they wanted toys like skateboard, a doll, a car and they were really happy to see him. Also, the adults were asked what they wanted for Christmas and they said they need a washing machine and a crib.

However, there were also 2 men who wanted something that they use to help their livelihood. One wanted a new engine he's a motorbike taxi driver, but the engine is broken and other wanted a new horse.

Then came Christmas day. The whole town went into the celebration mode and experienced a snowy Canadian Christmas in the tropics. Yet the celebration wasn't over, all the Christmas wishes that the community wanted and needed were given; the toys, the crib and even the washing machine.

According to GlobalNews.ca, "The WestJet holiday video has become a tradition for us; an opportunity for WestJetters to enrich lives through our fun and caring culture," said Bob Cummings, WestJet executive vice-president of sales marketing and guest experience.

WestJet worked with Studio M, a Toronto-based studio. According to CBC.ca, the studio wanted to showcase how connected WestJet is with the community and its "entrenched relationships," Studio M's Mike Mills said, rather than on some of the "traditional images of developing countries."
