‘Westworld’ star Leonardo Nam dishes his role is just like the audience
“Westworld” star Leonardo Nam (Felix) has dished about portraying his role in the series, saying he feels like his character is so much like the show’s viewers. Felix, just like the audience, sees “Westworld” revelations as they are disclosed. The actor has shared that although he himself is watching the show, and he is even part of the cast, he has no idea about what’s coming.
“Production was very good at keeping things hush-hush and people only saw their storyline. Even when I was watching it, I had no idea at all,” Nam said.
But the actor sees this as a benefit. He believes that the production for the show is so intense because there is so much mystery under the sheets. The set up, he said, gives him and the rest of “Westworld” cast members some breathing room. Just like Felix, he went through the show blind to most of the twists and turns.
In “Westworld” season 1, Nam’s character has been at centre of Maeve's (Thandie Newton) attempt to escape. The actor had nothing but all praises for Newton, saying she really gave her best for her performance in “Westworld” season 1. He described her as an ultimate professional and always so loving and so caring.
Nam said Newton has given her all in her performance and that was pretty obvious. He thinks the audiences have really responded to Maeve, as well as the storyline. Nam is just so grateful to be part of “Westworld.”
However, he has also admitted that he tends to get nervous when working with Newton. In spite of the nerve-wracking moment, the experience is always wonderful. “She was just so wonderful, just so darling and really took me under her wing,” Nam told ET.
Official air date for “Westworld” season 2 is yet to be announced. Foxtel has aired “Westworld” season 1 in Australia.
