First time mother Beyonce Knowles spent her first Mother's Day with her husband and daughter Blue Ivy. The bootylicious singer celebrated the event with her family with her mom Tina Knowles. The latter revealed that she will cook a meal for the family.
Beyonce stepped out on the MET Gala last week and looked stunning on her Givenchy Haute Couture gown. She said "I definitely want to have more [kids. I don't know how many. God knows. I don't know yet. I feel like now I know the reason that I was born."
Former Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus did and got something special for her mama. The singer revealed on her Twitter page that she made a breakfast in bed for her mother Tish Cyrus and gave her some jewelry.
Pop singer, Justin Bieber, dedicated a song to his mother entitled "Turn To You," which was released last Friday.
The proceeds that the song gets will go to the charity that supports single mothers.
The pop sensation tweeted last Monday "The proceeds will go to help other single moms." Later that week, Justin tweeted "Help moms in need. Give them strength. thank u mom."
Justin's mom, Pattie Mallette, was moved by her son's dedication to her and tweeted "@justinbieber wrote me a song for Mother's day! So excited 4 #TurnToYou out 2morrow, it made me cry...Proceeds going 2 help single moms!"
Other celebrities flooded Twitter with tweets of greetings for their moms and the moms of their followers. Rihanna wrote in her twitter account "#Mama....I'm proud of you," "#Mama.....I'm here for you when EVA," and "#Mama....u my ride or die bitch for life!!! And yes I know a bitch slap is on the way for my language! But u get it!!!!! I love you."
