The "Man of Steel" has finally given his thoughts on the news that "Daredevil" star Ben Affleck will be playing the role of the Dark Knight, "Batman."

Cavill is known as the "Man of Steel" which has brought back the love fans have for superman. Now, will Ben Affleck be able to follow the shoes of Christian Bale, who meticulously did an excellent job as Batman?

Henry Cavill believes that Affleck would do a great job as he himself is a fan of the actor turned director now turned "Batman."

"The Man of Steel" movie will be having a sequel which will include "Batman." This is the first time two of the best known superheroes will be found together on the big screen. Still, the allegations that Affleck will not be able to play the role has been circulating on the web. In addition, the media is torn between siding with Cavill and letting fans throw their opinions about the role which was handed to Affleck.

Yet, people would probably calm down after they learn that Cavill is a fan of Ben Affleck. Cavill also believes Ben would be able to do an excellent job. In an interview with Total Film, Cavill was asked about what he thought about Ben Affleck set out for the part of Batman, to which he said:

"I'm sure he'll be fantastic, above all else, and as a filmmaker he's got his own style, you know, he's not copying anyone else. And he's also sort of been tenacious in his career. He's had ups followed by downs and now he's very up again and I think that requires and shows a very special strength of character, and it's something which I enjoy working with because jobs like this require a strength of character, they require a dedication to the work and a belief in oneself and Ben has that, clearly."

Superman seems to have hope in Batman, so why shouldn't we?
