The day before the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, the lingerie brand announced that Taylor Swift and three other artists will perform in their annual fashion show last November 13.

But it appears that Lily Aldridge has a part in booking the 23-year-old singer into the show.

In an interview with Women's Wear Daily, Victoria's Secret's chief creative officer Ed Razek reveals how they got the '22' singer into performing in the show.

"I was having dinner with Lily Aldridge and told her it would be great if Taylor Swift would do the show. Lily said, 'We both live in Nashville and we're friends.' I was incredulous, like you are friends with Taylor Swift? That's like something imaginary, like you're friends with Harvey the Rabbit. Lily sent her a note, and Taylor Swift said she would love to do the Victoria's Secret show," said Razek.

Furthermore, the Tennessee-born model reveals to Us Weekly, "[Taylor] is one of my best friends, so we had so much fun together."

This revelation proves that the Victoria's Secret Angel and the pop-country singer had ties even way back.

And it seems like Lily enjoyed her friend's presence in the show. She tells Us Weekly, "We had a little moment at the end of her song 'Trouble,' where we walked in front of the stage together."

Lily then goes on to describe the moment as "a little love fest."

Meanwhile, Taylor appeared to have made more friends during the fashion show. Right after the event, she posted over Twitter a Polaroid photo of her with Lily, Erin Heatherson and Cara Delevigne, along with the caption "The best things always happen on the 13th!"

Karlie Kloss also gushes over what Taylor is showing.

"She and I need to be best friends!" she also tells Us Weekly. "I think she's the coolest young girl. She's a great role model, and I love her music."

The model may have been influencing the singer into cutting her hair. Karlie reveals to the New York Magazine, "I met Taylor Swift last night and she said, 'Ohhh, I want to cut my hair. Karlie, if you see me in a few months with that haircut, know it's because of you.'"
