Miley Cyrus makes headlines whenever she is snapped sporting a racy outfit or brazen behavior. Once again, Miley is put on the spotlight but all for a different reason now.

The 18-year-old star and singer made a second trip to Haiti where she did charity work together with the Starkey Hearing Foundation. She helped the organization in distributing hearing aids to more than 40,000 who lived in Haiti.

Sans make up and her designer wardrobe, she was fresh faced only in a t-shirt to bring comfort and joy to visit Haiti's capital Port au Prince.

"After I went on my first mission to Haiti with the Starkey Hearing Foundation, I felt so drawn to helping others hear for the first time and immediately wanted to look for another chance to go back and help again," Miley who reached super stardom when she played Hannah Montana said in her interview.

"This second mission to Haiti was just as impactful to me as the first one. I grew up around music and couldn't imagine what it would be like for my siblings and me, if we couldn't hear the magic of music," she added. "It's had such an influence on my life that I just want everyone to enjoy sound as it was intended."

The teen star exerted her best efforts on her trip. She chatted up children, fitted hearing aids to Haitians, and worked to better herself.

"That's a little boy named Emanuel :) we fit him w hearing aids... I've never seen a smile like his!" she tweeted about a little Haitian boy. "I can't wait to go back."
