With their division rivals winning Sunday night the Dallas Cowboys have no choice but to respond with a Monday Night Football victory against the Chicago Bears if they want to stay in the hunt for the division title.

The Philadelphia Eagles took care of business at home versus the Detroit Lions with an easy 34-20 win to improve to 8-5 win-loss card for the season.

The Cowboys, who are half a game back at 7-5, need to do it on the road against a Bears squad which will still be playing without starting quarterback Jay Cutler, who’s out due to an ankle sprain.

Meanwhile, despite an average record of 6-6, the Bears still have a chance to make the postseason if they can win their division. Chicago is half a game back the Lions (7-6) for the NFC North leadership.

Cutler was key in back-to-back wins over Dallas in the last two meetings between the two squads. Without him, the Bears will turn to back-up QB Josh McCown who has played well in the 23-to-20 OT loss to the Minnesota Vikings in Week 13.

Meanwhile, the Cowboys are coming off back-to-back wins to improve their chances in winning the division. They won against the New York Giants, 24-21 in Week 12 and the the Oakland Raiders, 31-24 in their last two outings.
