"White Collar" Season 5 is turning out to be one exciting season. When Agent Siegel was introduced as a new handler of Neal Caffrey in episode 2, one did not expect him to get murdered at the end of the third episode. That was a quick introduction and exit of a character. The murder of Agent Siegel has doubled the trouble for Neal. Neal might have become an accomplice in the murder.

Someone shot Agent Siegel quite close to the place where Neal Caffrey met Curtis Hagen. Agent Siegel was keeping a watch on Neal's activities, and is dead because of that. In the third episode of "White Collar" Season 6, Agent Siegel had said that Neal might either make his career or ruin it. He did not consider that his association with Neal might get him killed.

According to the preview of episode 4, "Controlling Interest," Neal feels that it is his fault, while Peter wants to know what Neal is hiding from him. In the preview, Peter can be seen asking Neal if he knows anything related to Agent Siegel, while Neal wants to know if Peter thinks that he can never change.
