Finally the wait is over for the fans of "White Collar." Here is the recap of "White Collar" Season 5, Episode 1, "At What Price."

Neal Caffrey (Matt Bomer) goes to meet Peter Burke (Tim DeKay) in the prison. Peter hands are handcuffed and he is the orange jumpsuit, the prison wear. He tells Neal that the irony of that is not lost on him. Neal is burdened with guilt as it is his father who is responsible for the crime for which Peter has been handcuffed. Neal's father has completely disappeared. Neal feels that it is his fault, while Peter tells him that he is not responsible for what his father did.

Without Neal's father testimony, it is difficult to prove the innocence of Peter as his hand prints are on the gun that killed the senator and also gun residue was found on him. "Justice will prevail," Neal tells him.

The person next to visit Peter is Sharif Atkins (Clinton Jones). He tells Peter that Diana (Marsha Thomason) is pregnant and she decided to do it alone. Peter realises that there is so much he is missing. When Elizabeth (Tiffani Thiessen) visits him, she tells him that he is going to come out stronger and that he is going to beat it. Peter promises that he will come home, to her.

Elizabeth tells Neal that she does not care if there is an indictment or not, she just wants Peter free. Neal point out that if there is an indictment, Peter would not be able to serve in the FBI, again, and that Peter cares about his badge. Neal does not want to be responsible for Peter losing his badge and that is why he wants to clear Peter's name before the indictment, and soon as possible. Elizabeth asks him to do whatever he has to do.

Mozzie (Willie Garson) may have taken a step in that direction by developing a device. Mozzie informs Neal that he has cracked his anklet, which means that Neal can move around without FBI tracking his movement.

Neal gets a text message from an unknown number that says "I can help Burke, Upper-House 5 p.m., come alone." It is from 'The Dutchman' -- Curtis Hagen, a.k.a. C.H (Mark Sheppard). Neal goes to the place and C.H., who is in the orange jumpsuit, complains that Neal never sent him a thank you card as he is a free man, roaming around Manhattan because of him. Neal reminds C.H. that he is enjoying the privilege because he caught him. C.H. is out on a work release program as he was never caught for murder but was put behind bars for forgery.

"I know how to make Peter Burke a free man," C.H. tells Neal. Neal refuses to buy that, but stops to listens when C.H. tells that he is responsible for making a federal prosecutor pursue Peter's case with heavy-handedness. C.H. is in need of money, a much bigger sum, and that is why he is ready to help Neal and Peter, and seeks a favour from Neal. Also, he suggests that Neal forge his father's confession as the prosecutor will need a reason so that he does not lose his face. "Make it good, I'll take care of the rest," C.H. tells Neal.

Neal is a little hesitant in forging his father's voice. Mozzie tells him that his father does not deserve redemption. At the court, Peter wants to testify for himself and talk about his record as a federal agent, but the federal prosecutor stops him from doing that, and presents new evidence. It is the Neal's father confession -- forged by Neal. The voice has been authenticated as that of James Bennett and all charges are dropped against Peter.

Peter is back at his White Collar office and Neal is waiting for him. Peter thanks Neal for convincing his father to record that confession statement. Peter gets the offer to run the White Collar division office, which is the stepping stone to the D.C.

Neal meets C.H to fulfil his side of the bargain deal. C.H. tells him that the target is a vault at the eight floor of a building. Coins melted from Welsh gold are inside the vault, the value of the coins is three times more than the normal gold. C.H. tells him that he wants the coins in two days.

Neal and Mozzie try to figure out how to break into the fortress kind of building. Peter comes and tells Neal about the new job possibilities, which might take him to D.C. He tells Neal that he will make sure that his deal stays on and that he is proud of him. Peter thinks that Neal did not do anything illegal to get him out of the prison.

At the target building, Mozzie is standing right at the top, ready to jump. Neal points that out to the bystanders. The next we see: fire-engines; and Neal, dressed as a fire-man, entering the building. He asks people in the office inside the building to evacuate as there is an emergency situation. Neal breaks the wall to find the vault. He is able to accomplish his mission of getting the coins.

Atop the building, an NYPD agent tries talking to Mozzie, thinking he is suicidal because of some conspiracy theory. When Neal sends Mozzie a text message "Done," Mozzie cannot get away, easily as the agent informs him that he is will be taken to a psychiatrist unit and kept there for 72 hours for his own safety. But, Neal comes there and saves him.

There is a problem when the compressed-air tanks are taken away from Neal and a fire-truck drives-away with them. Neal had hidden the coins in them. At the White Collar division, Peter informs Neal there is a case -- which may be their final case together -- that they need to solve, the coins stolen from the private vault. Peter is quite close to figuring out how the culprit stole the coins, and is ready to make a visit to the fire house. But, Mozzie makes the fire-engine go somewhere, else.

At the firehouse, Neal diverts the attention of Peter, the fire-house chief and one of the boys. He goes to the place where the tanks are kept. He asks Mozzie to come to the back of the building. Through a pipe, he is able to pass Mozzie the coins from the window. Mozzile walks away with the coins.

But, Neal has landed in more trouble than he had bargained for. The coins were for the prosecutor to ensure the freedom of Peter, but the real target for C.H. ia Neal. He has a recording of Neal stealing the coins. "My appeal is coming-up, you can help set me free," he tells Neal.

C.H wants his evidence to be destroyed -- the forged bonds that helped Peter catch him. Peter is checking out Neal's anklet position and notices that he was still for more than four hours at one place. Peter is doubtful about Neal but is unable to link him to the cold heist.

He later goes to Neal's place who is painting, which gives the impression that he is at one place for too long. Peter tells him he keeps forgetting that Neal is a criminal and that he has let emotions cloud his judgement, perspectives and looking at different angles. He does not want Neal's new handler to make the same mistake.

Peter has a new anklet, with a new chipset for Neal.
