‘White Collar’: Season 5 Ep. 2 ‘Out of Frying Pan’ to Deliver Diana’s Baby.
In the second episode of 'White Collar' Season 2, "Out of Frying Pan," Mozzie (Willie Garson) is staring at the possibility of an arrest. He is able to evade that because of his con-tricks and quick-thinking. Mozzie helps Diana (Marsha Thomason) deliver a baby, too.
An indebted Diana keeps quiet about Mozzie's real identity and that he is the man that Neal's (Matt Bomer) new handler, Agent David Siegel (Warren Kole), is looking for and who supposedly died in a fire explosion. The second episode of "White Collar" reveals the real name of Mozzie, which is Teddy Winters. Diana calls her new born Theodore, which means winter.
The baby was delivered in one of the underground hideouts of Mozzie. Diana does not tell Peter who helped her deliver the baby. Prior to the birth of the baby, Diana was acting like a complete hyper case, and had camped herself at the office. She also goes alone to investigate a crime scene. It is the place where Mozzie had faked his death, the death of Teddy Winters.
In the opening scene of the second episode, Mozzie is watching Neal practice some dance steps, which he later uses to skirt a security camera to reach the upper floor of the White Collar Division. Neal is able to destroy the evidence against Curtis Hagen (Mark Sheppard).
Peter (Tim DeKay) takes over the responsibility of the White Collar division. He is a little suspicious of Neal but is unable to catch him destroying Curtis Hagen's evidence.
At the end of the episode, Neal comments that one Teddy died and another was born. He does not see the destruction of evidence as an end to Curtis Hagen's saga, but feels that it is just the beginning.
