"White Collar" Season 5 episode 3 will introduce Neal Caffrey's (Matt Bomer) new girl, Rebecca Lowe, portrayed by Bridget Regan.

In "White Collar" Season 4, Sara (Hilarie Burton) left the American shores to take up a new job opportunity in UK. And, a new girl in Neal's life is what this season needed to dilute the tension of watching Neal's cons and fearing the consequences of those actions.

Neal made a pact with the devil, Curtis Hagen (Mark Sheppard), to set free Peter Burke (Tim DeKay). As a result of that deal, the first degree murder charge against Peter was dropped and he walked out as a free man. Neal kept his side of the deal by doing a heist of gold coins. But, the heist was a trap to record Neal committing the crime, which has made Neal a puppet. Curtis Hagen is pulling his strings whenever he wants and to achieve his objectives.

In the previous episode, Neal destroyed the evidence against Curtis. But, Curtis is not letting go Neal, yet. There is a new assignment waiting for him. Curtis wants Neal to steal a book, which is no "ordinary" book.

Neal meets Rebecca, a rare book scholar, while doing reconnaissance of the place where the book is kept inside a glass case. As seen in the sneak peek, Rebecca informs that the greatest wealth of the world is in the pages of the book, and that owner gave strict instructions that it cannot be opened.

"There is a really incredible girl who comes into Neal's life, played by the gorgeous and talented Bridget Regan," Matt Bomer had said as quoted by TV Line. "She is sort of atypical in terms of what Neal finds attractive in a woman -- with the exception of the fact that she's a redhead. She's like an onion, and in every episode more peels off and Neal becomes more attracted to her."

The character of Rebecca will have a ten episide arc.
