It is the mid-season finale episode of "White Collar" on Thursday. The episode is called "Digging Deeper." It is highly likely that Peter will be digging beyond the suspicious surface to get a whiff of what Neal is hiding from him. Since it is the mid-season finale, there ought be a cliff-hanger at the end of the episode.

The preview clip of "Digging Deeper" suggests that Rebecca is falling for Neal, as she can be seen telling Neal that she does not want it to stop whatever is going on between them. The two can be seen kissing passionately and are half-naked. Peter suspects that the lady in Neal's life is at the centre of something, and tells Neal that he is hiding something.

In the sneak peek of "Digging Deeper," Peter is trying to figure out the connection between Neal and the stolen cash, the FBI pen in Chiropractic clinic and a street corner where Neal was present. Peter is close but still is standing a long distance away. He can be seen telling Jones that he is missing something.

Peter's hunch might make him directly confront Neal but it does not look like Peter will get the complete picture, including Neal's pact with Curtis Hagen to ensure Peter's freedom.

"Neal and Peter take on an unprecedented asset recovery case for the Museum of Natural History: a stolen Tyrannosaurus Rex skeleton and its egg," according to the official synopsis of "White Collar" Season 5 Episode 11, "Digging Deeper."

After the short-holiday break, "White Collar" Season 5 is schedule to return on January 09, 2014, with the final five episodes. The fifth season consists of 13 episodes.

Buddy TV reports that Curtis Hagen will continue to blackmail Neal when "White Collar" returns with new episodes in January. Neal's last assignment for Curtis has the potential to expose him. The last assignment might set Neal free from the clutches of Curtis, but it comes with the risk of FBI finding out. With the help of Rebecca, Neal and Mozzie will get close to deciphering the Mosconi Codex.
