"White Collar" is back for its fifth season. It is a shorter season, with only 13 episodes. In the first episode of "White Collar" Season 5, "At What Price," Neal Caffrey (Matt Bomer) was able to ensure the freedom of Peter Burke (Tim DeKay) by forging the confession of his father.

Neal had to make a deal with Curtis Hagen (Mark Sheppard) to see that Peter is out of his orange jumpsuit, without any indictment. Neal will be paying the price of the deal in the upcoming episodes.

In the second episode of "White Collar," Warren Kole will guest star as the new handler of Neal, Agent David Siegel. Peter has taken the much bigger responsibility of managing the White Collar division, which may take him to Washington D.C. The new handler is not like Peter. For Neal, it is going to lead to a lot of new problems.

Talking about Neal and Peter's separation, Tim told the Seattle Pi, "Part of him is relieved to have somebody else take him and the other part is jealous."

"It's like The Odd Couple. Oscar would not want Felix to have any other roommate. As much as he says he'd like to get out of the apartment, he doesn't want to get out of the apartment."

It is a new beginning for Neal in the second episode of "White Collar" Season 5, "Out of the Frying Pan." It is going to be a turbulent beginning and with a new anklet to track his every move.

The preview promo of the second episode suggests that Mozzie finds himself staring at a possible interrogation session, and Neal cannot do much to help his friend. According to the official synopsis of "White Collar" Season 5 Episode 2: "Out of the Frying Pan": "Neal's loyalty is tested when a lead implicates Mozzie as part of an online black market."

It is 'out of the frying pan and into the fire' situation for Neal this season.
