USA Network's "White Collar" is all set to return this fall for its fifth season. "White Collar Season 4" ended on an explosive twist, which sent Peter Burke (Tim DeKay) behind bars and left Neal Caffrey (Matt Bomer) with a sense of betrayal and guilt. "White Collar Season 5" won't be an easy season for Peter and Neal, especially for Peter. He is facing murder charges and his rock-solid relationship with Elizabeth (Tiffani Thiessen) might get tested, as well. A woman from his past is all set to re-surface and lay the base for a conflict in his friction-free married life.

Elizabeth may already be a bundle of nerves after the arrest of Peter for allegedly murdering a senator. And, the woman from the past may add to her anxiety and frustration.

E! Online's Kristin Dos Santos providing a scoop about White Collar Season 5, said "Someone from Peter's past will show and really put a strain on the couple's relationship. And here's another hint: the person from Peter's past is a woman. Shippers, we suggest starting to prepare for some angst right about...now."

White Collar Season 5 will have a lesser number of episodes, with 13 compared to the regular 16 episodes a season. The new season will see the return of the Dutchman C.H., a.k.a Curtis Hagen (Mark Sheppard), the pilot episode's notorious forger. He may help Neal to prove Peter's innocence but at a cost and also "stir the pot." The price may be to counterfeit something priceless, which is likely to push Neal back in the world of crime and con.

Since Peter has been framed and is facing murder charges, Neal would need a new handler. Warren Kole joins the cast of "White Collar Season 5" to play Neal's new handler, Agent David Seigal.

As reported earlier, Neal also gets a new lady to woo. Bridget Jones has joined the cast of White Collar for a "significant arc." She will have a recurring role and will be playing the role of Rebecca Lowe, a rare book scholar.

For "White Collar Season 5," Tim DeKay is helming the penultimate episode, while co-star Willie Garson, who plays the role of quirky Mozzie, went behind the camera to direct "White Collar Season 5 Episode 7."

Willie Garson Tweeted: "Just saw first cut of Episode 507 of "White Collar"----this director is pleased, VERY pleased..."

UPDATE: USA Network has announced that White Collar Season 5 will premiere on Thursday, October 17 at 9/8c.
