It has been a long excruciating wait for the fans of "White Collar." The fifth season of the hit USA Networks drama series is slated to premiere on October 17, 2013. The upcoming season will only have 13 episodes, three less than the normal cable series season. However, the new season looks promising, loaded with con-twists.

Also, there are new developments in the personal life of Neal Caffrey (Matt Bomer) and Peter Burke (Tim DeKay). Neal is going to get a new girl as Sarah moved out to London in the previous season finale of "White Collar." Also, a woman from Peter's past re-surfaces, shaking the foundation of Peter and Elizabeth's (Tiffani Thiessen) relationship.

The media is abuzz with news that someone is going to get pregnant in the premiere episode. It might be Elizabeth, but we don't know for sure. According to Entertainment Weekly, Peter will be out of his prison orange jumpsuit in the first episode of "White Collar" Season 5, but there is a price attached to his freedom and which is likely to cause trouble in the Neal-Peter paradise.

E! Online's "White Collar" scoop suggests that a voicemail is likely to save a man from prison. The only man who is cooling his heels inside the prison is Peter.

The first episode of "White Collar" Season 5 is called "At What Price." It is probably alluding to the pact that Neal Caffrey will make with the devil, 'The Dutchman (Mark Sheppard),' to get Peter out of the prison. The finale of "White Collar" ended on the note of Peter getting arrested for the murder of a Senator that Neal's father committed.

Neal will take the help of 'The Dutchman' a.k.a Curtis Hagen (C.H.) and Peter will be a free man. However, it looks like Neal has to return to his conning ways as a result of that. You cannot keep Neal and Con apart for a long time. Con always finds him, even though this time Neal will be back to the world of white collar crime to save Peter. In the absence of Peter, Neal's handler will be agent David Seigel (Warren Cole).
