"White Collar" Season 5 has kept its viewers on the edge of their seat. In the beginning of this season, Neal Caffrey made a pact with the devil to ensure the freedom of his handler and surrogate father, Peter Burke (Tim DeKay).

At the end of episode 4, Neal is done with being a slave, taking orders from others. He wants to cut all the strings when the time comes, including that of Peter.

In episode 4, "Controlling Interest," Neal stole a bag full of cash because it was there to be stolen and gave it to Mozzie (Willie Garson) so that he can build his empire, again. Under the influence of a drug, he said to Mozzie he likes working with Peter but likes going against him, too. Neal confessed that he does not regret going against Peter and also he carries no burden of remorse.

Is Neal preparing to revolt against Peter? There are too many secrets in Neal's backyard. This season, he has already committed four crimes, including destroying evidence against Curtis Hagen (Mark Sheppard). The first three crimes were committed on the orders of Curtis Hagen (to protect Peter and himself), but he committed the fourth crime on his own will.

The episode "Controlling Interest" looks like has set the base for a major conflict between Neal and Peter. It is likely that Peter's trust in Neal will be completely shattered and they might have to begin from the start.

The character of Diana, portrayed by Marsha Thomason, is integral to "White Collar." The actress real life pregnancy has kept her away from Season 5 of this hit USA Network's series. In the show, Mozzie helped her deliver a baby in the second episode. Marsha is all set to return in the final two episodes of "White Collar" Season 5.

According to a TV Line report, Diana won't be alone when she returns to "White Collar." "Eventually there's a new cast member on the show -- Diana has a baby, and it is the baby who helps one of our characters in an episode. That's all I can say," according to DeKay as quoted by TV Line.

In the upcoming episode, "Master Plan," Neal will put on the cloak of a butler to rat out an imposter. According to the official synopsis of "White Collar" Season 5 Episode 5, "Master Plan," "Neal poses as a butler to expose an imposter and protect a Manhattan family's fortune."
