"White Collar" Season 5 is nearing its half-way mark as season 5 consists of only 13 episodes. The episode 5 of "White Collar," "Master Plan," did not touch the main arc of this season -- the price that Neal has paid to secure Pete's freedom and the consequences as a result of that. Neal and Peter teamed-up like good old days to solve the case of an imposter. Curtis Hagen was not there and Neal wasn't pulling out tricks to fool Peter.

What Happened in "Master Plan": Neal helps Peter expose an imposter and save the real heir of Wolcott family. Patrick Wolcott had run away, fourteen years ago. He returns home saying that he read about his father's ill-health in the newspapers and thus has returned home. Elizabeth, an old acquaintance of Patrick and Wolcott family, believes that he is not the real Patrick and asks Neal to investigate. Neal enters the Wolcott's house as a butler. The old butler had been fired allegedly for leaking information about Senior Wolcott's health. The real Patrick is alive and the imposter would have killed him after the Wolcott's property is transferred in his name. Thanks to Neal, Peter and the FBI team are able to trap the imposter and catch him.

What Might Happen in "Ice Breaker": According to the official synopsis of "White Collar" Episode 6: "Peter and Neal seek to uncover a smuggling ring in Little Odessa by infiltrating the criminal underworld."

The preview of "Ice Breaker" suggests that the main arc of Season 5 is back in focus, again along with the new case to solve. Also, the episode brings back the rare book expert and the potential love-interest of Neal this season -- Rebecca Lowe.

Mozzie can be seen telling Neal in the preview clip, "You can slip away and the big brother will be none the wiser." The preview says old habits die hard. Neal is able to get the tracking anklet off his ankle on the pretext to infiltrate the underworld. Peter realises that Neal has slipped off and he wants to know where he has gone.

In "Ice Breaker," Neal and Mozzie meet Rebecca and they want to know what she knows about the book and the page that Neal had managed to steal for Curtis Hagen. It looks like Neal is all set to figure out what secret the page from the rare book is hiding as he says, "Bingo," with a smile in the preview.
