White Collar Season 5 will have a truncated run to accommodate police drama series Graceland, Jeff Eastin's new baby that premiered on June 06, 2013. There will be now 13 episodes of White Collar Season 5, three less than the usual number of episodes to complete a season on USA Network.

Ted Linhart ‏@TedOnTV posted on Twitter on August 01, 2013: "To produce the best season of White Collar USA will do 13 eps this season only, so the showrunner's sked can accommodate both WC & Graceland."

According to USA Network's schedule, Graceland is slated to wrap-up its 12 episodes on September 12, 2013 and White Collar Season 5 premiere episode is likely to air after that. USA Network has yet to announce the due date on which the new season of White Collar returns.

White Collar Season 4 ended on a cliff-hanger. Peter Burke (Tim DeKay) landed in a deep ditch for no fault of his own. Neal Caffrey (Matt Bomer) is indirectly responsible for that. His father turned out to be a double-faced, corrupt to the core man. He killed a senator and created circumstances that framed Peter, putting the blame completely on him.

Since Peter is under-arrest for the murder of the senator, Neal is all set to get a new handler. According to reports, Common Law's Warren Kole will play the role of the new handler. If one predicts based on previous four seasons of White Collar, tumultuous time is ahead for Neal under the new handler. Also, he has to prove the innocence of Peter.

The pushing of the premiere date has heightened the anxiety level of White Collar fans, and the 13 episodes have added to the anxiety. Is it the beginning of the end of White Collar? Matt Bomer had once said in an interview that he would like White Collar to have a five season run, while Tim DeKay had wanted the drama series to have a longer run.

Tim DeKay once again dons the director's hat for the penultimate episode of White Collar Season 5 Episode 12. The lovable Mozzie (Willie Garson) has also directed one of the episodes of the new season.

Willie Tweeted: "I dont know, this directing gig is doing the weirdest things to my body...." and posted this pic:
