‘White Collar’ Season 5: Will Matt Bomer and Hilarie Burton Reunite On-Screen? [PHOTOS]
The reports about Matt Bomer having a new love interest in White Collar Season 5 had the fans wondering what happens then to Hilarie Burton's character, Sara Ellis. There are hopes that more will be seen on Matt and Hilarie's on-screen relationship in the TV series but perhaps a "love triangle" story will be more interesting.
According to the TVLine report, bringing back actress Hilarie Burton as Sara Ellis in White Collar Season 5 is currently being discussed. No official statement has been revealed yet on the casting issue but speculations suggest that if Sara returns, she may no longer appear in every episode.
Spoiler news has already announced that actress Bridget Regan will portray Matt Bomer's new love interest on the TV series. With Bridget Regan debuting on the show and Hilarie Burton possibly coming back, maybe there is enough space for the two ladies appearing on the TV show.
A few bits and pieces of what will happen in White Collar Season 5 have been revealed as well. Tim DeKay portrays Special Agent Peter Burke and his character will be temporarily imprisoned, causing Matt Bomer's character, Neal Caffrey, to have a new handler whom actor Warren Kole will portray.
Additionally, con-man Neal Caffrey will reportedly become a part of a new NYPD task force division aimed to conduct extensive police raids. An interesting episode will have Matt Bomer pretending to be a butler to gain access to an aristocratic family that Tiffani Thiessen's character, Elizabeth Burke, knew and investigate on the eldest mutinous son.
Other reports revealed that White Collar Season 5 will be less focused on mythology compared to Season 4 which promises a more lighthearted story. The reasons for such change on the TV show point to the actor's working schedules and the USA Network's endeavor to expand
The White Collar filming team is currently working hard for the new episodes of Season 5 scheduled to be aired this fall season.
