Whitney Houston’s Family Fears for Her Daughter Bobbi Kristina
In the wake of the death of singer Whitney Houston, family members fear that her daughter, 18-year-old Bobbi Kristina Brown, might be suicidal and are considering getting her help with rehab as an option. According to a TMZ report, Bobbi Kristina was taken to the hospital twice already. Sources close to the family tell TMZ that the family believes Bobbi Kristina might try and take her own life.
Making a deeply saddening situation even worse, the recently departed singer Whitney Houston's daughter has been rushed to the hospital following her mother's passing. The report states that Bobbi was removed from the Beverly Hilton Hotel, where her mother was found dead, on a stretcher after police and fire responded to a call for help. Bobbi Kristina Brown was taken to Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles. It has been told that she was "hysterical, exhausted and unconsolable."
Bobbi also got into it with the cops after she was barred access from seeing her mother's body. Miss Houston's only child from husband Bobby Brown is said to have entered a fit of rage with police officers guarding her late mom's hotel room. "Bobbi Kristina was screaming, 'What's wrong with her? What's wrong with her?" a source told "People." The news of Whitney Houston's sudden death continues to rock the music industry and entertainment world as well as the details surrounding it. Now, all eyes are on Bobbi Kristina with concern for her well-being in light of the tragedy.
Jawn Murray, a longtime journalist who has interviewed Whitney Houston over the years, shared that the mother and daughter were extremely close, even until the end. "Less than a week ago, Bobby, his girlfriend Alicia, their new child, Whitney and Bobbi Kristina were all photographed having a family dinner. Brown and Houston still liked each other as people, and got along very well for the sake of Bobbi Kristina," Murray shared. He also added that Whitney and her daughter had a strong, loving bond.
"They had a relationship that really resembled the relationship that Whitney Houston had with her own mother, Cissy Houston," Murray said. "Whitney loved her daughter. Bobbi Kristina was her only child and her pride and joy. Because of that, she treasured her," Murray added.
