Ever imagined Twilight with a different Bella Swan? Michelle Trachtenberg reveals she "almost" played the role of Edward Cullen's ladylove.

Some die-hard Bella fans might not be happy to know that Kristen Stewart wasn't the only one that was considered to play the famous "Twilight" character.

Michelle Trachtenberg, another one of Hollywood's pale looking girls admit that she was indeed considered for the famous role.

The 26-year-old actress played the little sister of "Buffy" during her younger years. With that alone from her portfolio there's no doubt she could fit right into the box-office hit movie.

"There was definitely interest here and there because there's only so few pale girls in Hollywood," Michelle explained. "I've known [director] Catherine Hardwicke since the movie Thirteen."

She later on revealed that she was also to star in the independent film "Thirteen" which the "Twilight" director also directed. The only problem was, she was already part of "Buffy" that time.

So the question is, how did Kristen Stewart end up with the famous movie part that gave her super stardom? Michelle explained that just like the earlier time with "Thirteen" schedules never worked out.

But did she somehow regret it? For which her career would have probably been different now if she played "Bella Swan."

"I already have Buffy. I've already done the vampire thing," the "Gossip Girl" actress said.
