After the successful broadcast of Doctor 50th Anniversary Special Episode The Day of the Doctor, the makers of the show are prepping their fans for the next segment which seems to be full of surprises, twists and turns. BBC's "Doctor Who" is returning with its Christmas Special Episode The Time of the Doctor on Xmas Day. And it is believed that many of the fans' questions will be answered in the episode. Who is the Actual 13th Doctor Who- Steven Moffat Reveals (Spoilers)

For all Doctor Who fans, Steven Moffat the creator of the classic hit show has confirmed that Matt Smith's Doctor is the actual 13th Doctor Who and also, the final one.

Earlier on, Matt Smith's doctor was believed to be the 11th incarnation of Time Lord, but curiosity and questions started to rise when John Hurt's War doctor was introduced to the series. This happened during the Doctor Who episode of 2008 titled "The Stolen Earth."

Also, adding to the confusion of the fans is Doctor Who mythology which states that a doctor can reincarnate only 12 times in Doctor Who universe.

The upcoming segment of the BBC's show, Doctor Who Christmas Special Episode The Time of the Doctor" will reveal the truth about Matt Smith's doctor being the 13th Doctor. Matt Smith's doctor will also be heard saying: "I'm dying and there is nothing I can do about it."

Steven Moffat while talking about the show Doctor Who to Radio Times revealed who is the actual 13th Doctor Who.

"We'll find out [in the Christmas special] that Matt Smith is actually the 13th Doctor. Although everyone knows that the Doctor can only regenerate 12 times," said Steven Moffat the creator of the show to Radio Times.

"That 12 times limit is a central part of Doctor Who mythology - and science fiction is all about rules, right? So if the Doctor can never change again, what's Peter Capaldi doing in the Christmas Special?" added Steven Moffat giving rise to more questions regarding Peter Capaldi's introduction to the show.

The fragmented storyline woven through spoilers and speculations may seem to be confusing fans. But they need to wait until Xmas Day when the show returns with Doctor Who Christmas Special Episode the Time of the Doctor on BBC One.
