An activist who has very close ties with animal welfare organization, PETA, was claimed to be behind the Flour bomb attack to reality star Kim Kardashian.

Curvaceous celeb Kim Kardashian was doused with flour right on the red carpet during the launch of her new fragrance last week.

The attacker, identified as Christina Cho, has been involved in other stunts for the organization. Christina threw a bag of flour and shouted "fur hag" at Kim. She once grabbed the microphone from the top designer Donna Karan at a Women's Conference in order to rant about the use of fur in fashion, and won an award from the organization in 2010.

PETA initially denied allegations that the organization was behind the "flour" incident. According to the representative of animal rights organization, "It was not [us]. We were given the video by an anti-fur activist on the scene. However they added: 'PETA has tried everything from polite letters to public protests, but Kim Kardashian has not been moved by the news that animals are beaten, electrocuted, and even skinned alive for real fur garments. Whoever threw that flour may reach her when our polite appeals did not."

Kim Kardashian has not decided yet whether she would press charges against the attacker or the organization.

Due to the embarrassing incident that happened to her sister, Khloe Kardashian is reported to have quit PETA. The celebrity was a well-known supporter of the organization and once posed naked for an ad for PETA.

According to her blog, "I've been a vocal supporter of PETA for a long time but I have also been very vocal about anti-bullying, so this was a huge disappointment for me. As you all know, I don't condone violence and bullying and what happened last Thursday was just that."
