"Selenators" are happy now that Selena Gomez has apparently found a suitable replacement for Justin Bieber with Derek Hough. However, a few die-hard fans of the former "Jelena" duo still say Justin Bieber is Gomez's perfect match. Judging from talent and looks, who among Derek Hough and Justin Bieber is better for Gomez?

Selena Gomez is obviously having the time of her life without Bieber by her side. To date, the former Disney star has been spotted hanging out with five different guys and the latest is "Dancing with the Stars'" Derek Hough.

According to a few sources, Gomez was seen flirting with Hough at the Vanity Fair Oscar after Party. Dressed in an Atelier Versace dress, Gomez made heads turn at the party and had caught the eye of one particular blonde hunk.

"My favorite Gomez, dancing it up hard . Good times ... #Oscars" stated Derek Hough on his Twitter account.

For those who don't know Derek Hough, the professional dancer had been paired off in season 3 with Nicole Scherzinger of the Pussycat Dolls. Hough is also the brother of "Safe Haven" star, Julianne Hough.

"Good times with vanessahudgens @selenagomez lillycollins Last night" added Hough on his Twitter along with a photo of him with Gomez, Hudgens and Collins.

If Hough is Gomez's new beau, Julianne Hough would definitely approve of his taste given Selena is a close family friend. Of course, "Beliebers" still hung up on the "Jelena" duo would say otherwise. Still, who'd be a better boyfriend? To compare both stars, the breakdown should be as follows: looks, age, talent and personality.

Given the looks, both Bieber and Hough are quite good-looking and blonde. As for the age, Justin is a wee bit younger than Gomez while Hough is seven years older than Gomez. Of course, when it comes to love age is not a problem.

When it boils down to talent, Bieber is gifted in the singing and dancing department whilst Hough is the popular smooth mover on the dance floor. As for personality, Justin Bieber is on the spiral downward with the latest cheating scandals, drug use and nominations for the worst singer in the industry. Hough, on the other hand, is set to get back to "Dancing with the Stars."

Looking at those factors, it is obvious Derek Hough is the better - or best - option for Selena Gomez.
