The two actors battled it out in the Emmy's.

Kyle Chandler and Jon Hamm had an intense battle and everybody is waiting for their reactions over the recently concluded Emmy Awards 2011.

"Friday Night Lights" lead actor Kyle Chandler beaten out Mr. Don Draper (Jon Hamm) of "Mad Men".

The two were still mum and did not release official statements about their winning and losing the Best Actor trophy.

The world literally went wild when Kyle Chandler went home with his long-deserved Emmy Award for Best Actor in a Drama Series.

The Twitter world went gaga and was flooded with tweets giving kudos to Kyle Chnadler for his hard work as Coach Taylor in the underrated series "Friday Night Lights".

Chandler said before the Emmy's that it is nice to end the show with some recognition and that the show ended strong like its pilot episode.

He also added that the nomination got by the show recognized the efforts of all the crew members, writers and staff. The recognition warmed his heart and paid off the five years of labour put into the show.

On the "Mad Men" corner, Jon Hamm is still tight-lipped upon not winning the Emmy's. A lot of people think that Jon Hamm deserved the trophy as there has been a hiatus over the "Mad Men" series.

When the list of nominations was released, Jon Hamm said that he is "beyond thrilled" with the Emmy's success. Moreover, series creator Matthew Weiner said that he is not being humble, but we can never tell.

"Mad Men" went home with the award for Best Drama Series.
