Who Leads the London Critics' Circle Nominations?
The 32nd London Critics' Circle Film Awards Nominations were announced last Tuesday. With the awards closely coming in by January 19 of next year, take a quick recap of the films who were nominated last December 20.
Approximately 120 UK film critics, writers and broadcasters voted for the films nominated. The films in the lead were Drive starring Hollywood's hottest and talented actor Ryan Gosling and the film Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy starring equally talented Gary Oldman.
Each film received a total of six nominations. The film Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy gets nominated for Film of the Year along with five other nominations of British Film of the Year, Actor of the Year, The Sky 3D Award for Technical Achievement, Screenwriter of the Year and British Actor of the Year.
On the other hand, the film Drive also gets nominated for Film of the Year and The Sky 3D Award for Technical Achievement. Apart from the same nominations, the film Drive was also nominated for Actor of the Year, Director of the Year, The Moët & Chandon Award for British Actress of the Year and Supporting Actor of the Year.
Coming in at five nominations each are the films A Separation and We Need to Talk About Kevin. The film by Steve McQueen, Shame, and Michel Hazanavicius' film, The Artist, fall short of only four nominations. The complete list of nominations can be found here.

With the nominations already in place, fans and film critics all over the world are patiently waiting for the big reveal of winners which will be taking place at the BFI Southbank on Thursday, January 19, 2012.
