The ladies have strutted their evening gown in the Miss Universe preliminary round and people cannot help but wonder who wore the simple yet elegant yellow gown best: Miss Puerto Rico or Miss Philippines?

The ladies wore their gowns to wow the judges and many of them certainly did. Those who simple stole the night in their evening gowns were Miss Philippines, Miss Puerto Rico, Miss Venezuela, Miss Russia and Miss Brazil. These beauties were stunning in their evening gowns.

As everyone knows, Miss Philippines has always thought of Miss Puerto Rico as the candidate to beat, along with Miss France. In the different rounds in which each of the contestants have been in, it seems the one to really beat is indeed Miss Puerto Rico.

The two battled for the best evening gown as they both wore almost similar yellow evening gowns. The great thing about the color is that it exudes their skin color. It is actually a good choice by their designers to choose the yellow color because it simply emphasizes the beauty and the exoticness of their country.

So, the question now is, who wore their yellow evening gown the best?

Judging by the fact that these are two are beautiful ladies that donned a yellow evening gown. The effects of the color are wonderful as it shows their color. The two had gone for a simple, elegant hair do as well as a corset-like ensemble.
