Duck Dynasty Commander Willie Robertson is rumoured to do a brand new duck call, this time intended to the Congress.

There are Republican operatives who are rumoured to be encouraging the Duck Dynasty CEO and star Mr Robertson to try politics and run for Congress from his home in Louisiana. This is to possibly replace Republican Rep Rodney Alexander who will soon retire. Rep Alexander used to be a Democrat who switched into being a Republican way back in 2004.

According to the Washington Examiner, one adviser of the House GOP mentioned that they want "to run Willie Robertson for the seat."

On the other hand, the Duck Dynasty star said in an interview with US Weekly that he's considered trying out everything, maybe even politics. However, he insisted that he finds this year as not the right time yet. Mr Robertson emphasized how 'busy' he is at the moment and that it can be better to find other ways of helping the country. This does not mean though that he is closing his doors to politics.

As a matter of fact, no matter how the Republicans think that the Duck Dynasty CEO is capable of running, what they are not convinced of is if he is willing to give up his shows for Congress.

Mr Robertson is described in the official websites of his television shows to be a keen hunter and a prankster all at the same time. But he comes with a degree and dependable business. He upgraded the Duck Dynasty to another level by making it a premier destination from its simple small operations.

The Duck Dynasty reality star is set to give a message to students at the Liberty University on September 27. He will be joined in by other speakers like Kirk Cameron, Bethany Hamilton and even Justin Bieber's mum.

Do you think Duck Dynasty's Willie Robertson has a shot in politics too?
