Funnyman Will Ferrell thinks actress Eva Mendes looks just 'kind of average'. Ferrell recently starred alongside Mendes in 'The Other Guys.' Contactmusic.com reported that Ferell jokingly said he was underwhelmed by her appearance.

'When you see her in person, she's not that beautiful really... she's just kind of average. If you were sitting next to her on the bus, you probably wouldn't notice her,' said the 'Elf' star. He later admitted he was kidding.

Meanwhile, according to Sony studio estimates, "The Other Guys" opened to a solid $35.6-million this weekend. The Ferell-Wahlberg starrer displaced "Inception" from the top box office spot after a three-week run.
