Will Lindsay Lohan be competing in Dancing With The Stars? Producers of the show are reportedly eyeing the Hollywood actress as one of the possible contestants for next season.

It's been barely a month since Jennifer Grey of the Dirty Dancing fame was declared the winner of the recently concluded 11th season of Dancing With the Stars with Kyle Massey and partner Lacey Schwimmer, and Bristol Palin and her partner Mark Ballas placing second and third, respectively.

Nevertheless, the search for another roster of celebrities to compete in the show has already commenced, with Lindsay Lohan at the fore.

"Dancing with the Stars producers have had Lindsay on their wish list of castmates for a very long time," said a source quoted by entertainment Web site RadarOnline. Representatives for the show refused to comment on rumours of Lindsay's casting.

The source further added,"The producers were concerned about her erratic behavior, but they are taking another look at asking her to come on for the next season because she is doing so well at her sober living facility."

"The producers are aware that she would be available because she isn't going to be filming Inferno."

Lindsay Lohan has recently been dropped from the Linda Lovelace biopic Inferno and Malin Akerman has stepped into the role. Inferno: A Linda Lovelace Story focuses on the life of adult film star Linda Lovelace. Aside from her availability, producers of the show said that unknown to many Lohan can dance.
