Australian actor Sam Worthington is rumoured to star in Alex Proyas's film 'Dracula: Year Zero.'

The actor looks set to come home as Universal Picture said this week that the movie would be shot in Australia. Universal managing director Mike Baard told the Australian International Movie Convention that the project would be based in Australia using local crews, locations and cast.

Worthington last filmed a movie in Australia for the killer crocodile 'Rogue' in 2007. He had since starred in Terminator Salvation, Avatar and Clash of the Titans.

Meanwhile, Worthington expressed interest to star in a remake of the 1985 Arnold Schwarzenegger hit 'Commando.' In a statement, the Australian actor said he wants to transform himself as this generation's Schwarzenegger. Worthington is also vying for the lead role in the forthcoming 20th Century Fox production.
