Another U.S. Military soldier stationed in Afghanistan tried his luck in asking a celebrity to the Marine Corps ball.

This time its sexy football superstar Hope Solo, who got asked by a captain via YouTube.com.

According to thepostgame.com, the video proposal worked with actress Mila Kunis. Will it produce the same result with U.S. soccer goalie?

Captain Nassar Jabour, who is also stationed in Afghanistan, produced a YouTube video asking Solo to go with him to the Austrian Officers Ball.

"He said that you went to Austria and loved it, and you respected guys in the military," Jabour says on the video. "So all I wanted to do is invite you to the Austrian Officer's Ball. It's in Vienna on the 20th of January. And if you want to get to know me in the meantime, I'd love to have a pen pal."

Jabour has no problem being labeled a copycat.

"Yes, I am absolutely riding the coattails of the Mila Kunis and Justin Timberlake thing," Jabour says. "Can you blame me?"

Is Mila really going?

Mila Kunis generated a serious buzz in Hollywood and throughout the U.S. military when she accepted a sergeant's YouTube invitation to accompany him to the annual Marine Corps ball. Sgt. Scott Moore, who is stationed in Afghanistan, posted a video asking Kunis to be his date.

After her "Friends with Benefits" co-star Justin Timberlike showed her the video, Kunis agreed to attend the ball with Moore on Nov. 18 in Greenville, North Carolina. However, although Ms Kunis agreed, there were reports that she probably can not go because of some shooting engagements. This has yet to be confirmed by the actress.

Will Hope Solo say yes to this invite?
