There are rumours floating around that one of the locations for the "Star Wars" episode 7 shooting will be in New Mexico. Some fans have speculated that it could be for the dark planet 'Korriban.'

If the new movie series needs to focus on the rebirth of the 'Sith' order, there is no better place than 'Korriban.' Fans who have played "Star Wars" games know the barren planet all too well!

'Korriban' is the home world of the 'Sith' and houses many tombs of the dead 'Sith Lords.' It also has the 'Sith Academy' which now lies in ruins. The planet is an ideal location for a 'Sith Lord' to train his apprentice.

Some fans consider New Mexico as a good spot to show the desert planet 'Tatooine.' Fans will remember the fictious planet in the "Star Wars" world, which has been home to both Anakin Skywalker and Luke Skywalker.

But there is speculation that the episode 7 will need to explore new worlds, especially since Anakin Skywalker better known as Darth Vader is dead. Fans have already seen this planet in multiple movies from the series, primarily because of the "Skywalker" connection.

Fans have seen the training of Luke Skywalker to become a Jedi in the swamp infested world of 'Dagobah.' The plants and trees there make it an ideal place for learning the ways of the force as a Jedi.

If the producers want to show the training of a 'Sith' apprentice, the ruins of 'Korriban' can offer a good contrast, the planet is full of "dark energy." Fans have always wondered if the spirit of Obi-Wan can comeback, why not a spirit of a dead 'Sith lord?' The tombs in 'Korriban' offer a good opportunity to bring back a dead 'Sith lord.'

Fans were disappointed that they were not able to see their two favourite dark characters in the recently released trilogy. Darth Vader, the evil lord of the 'Sith' and Boba Fett, the cunning bounty hunter were seen as children in the series and Anakin becomes Darth Vader only towards the end of the movie.
