The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited the most famous cancer institute in Britain on Sept. 29, and here are their most tear-jerking experiences.

The Royal Marsden Hospital in Sutton is not only close to the heart of the Royal Family, but it is also one of the most efficient institutions in Great Britain that care for cancer-ridden youth and individuals. Yesterday, the Royal Couple made an appearance for the opening of the new Oak Centre for Children worth £18million. Despite just finishing a tiring 24-hour shift as a search and rescue pilot, Prince William made sure to attend the opening and talk to some of the patients in different wards.

Now only appearing once a month due to her Royal tutorials, the Duchess arrived in a sleek Amanda Wakely off-white dress paired with her favorite LK Bennett nude heels. Like her husband, Middleton talked to some of the patienst, particularly 9-year-old Fabian Bate. Bate, who's confined in the Teenage and Young Adult Chemotherapy Suite, asked the Duchess to visit his blog, to which Middleton replied
"I'll look that up and post a message."

William had a swell time talking to brain tumor 17-year-old patient Kieran, who was hit by a golf club on the head when he was younger. The Prince exclaimed "He told me he was hit by a club when he was eight and only plays crazy golf now." Another patient that caught the Prince's attention was 14-year-old Digby Davidson, who showed a photo of himself to the Prince while he was in the Army Cadet Force. In the photo, Davidson was wearing a military uniform and being the air force pilot that he is, William got excited and said "Is that you?"

The responsibility of improving the Royal Marsden Hospital was passed on to William by his late mother, Princess Diana. Because the hospital is close to the Royal Family, a reporter even asked Middleton if it's going to be one of her chosen charities. Middleton gushed and shyly replied

"We'll have to see - William's in charge".
