Black Eyed Peas member will.i.am lost an estimated $10,000 worth of personal belongings when burglars broke into his luxury car on Monday, June 21. Pieces of jewelry were taken from the star's Bentley, which was parked at his Hollywood Hills mansion in Los Angeles.

He reportedly made the discovery himself and called the authorities to file an official report. TMZ.com reports that the police have already started with the investigations and were able to retrieve some of will.i.am's stolen property.

Meanwhile, the American rapper is currently busy with the preparations for the first U.S. album of Cheryl Cole, who recently signed under his record label.

"Cheryl's dope, I like collaborating with her. We've talked about working on her next album, plus we signed her to the label in America," he said.

"We're figuring out how we go about it in the States. It has to be something really incredible done in a different way."
