News has gotten around that Samuel Jackson and Victoria Beckham had an awkward encounter at the Wimbledon when they were seated next to each other. There were even photos and videos supporting this claim. Apparently, the "Nick Fury" actor must have gotten furious at all the allegations when he tweeted "STFU" to silence all the rumours.

Samuel Jackson and Victoria Beckham found themselves seated next to each other at the player's box during the gentleman's final at the Wimbledon Tennis Championships on Sunday. Photos and a six-second Vine Video that went viral on Monday appeared to show Jackson and Beckham squirming uncomfortably on their seats. They also seem to silently ignore each other's presence (check video below).

E! Online claimed Samuel Jackson and Victoria Beckham do not make the most natural of pairings at the Wimbledon. The site pointed out one particular awkward photo that started the buzz on the internet.

On the photo, both stars appear to be doing what the site called the standard nervous fidget, like adjusting the hair or parts of their clothing. They seem to be engaged in such to avoid having to do talk to each other. Buzzfeed also noted that even though they were seated next to each other, conversations weren't exactly flowing. Samuel Jackson and Victoria Beckham apparently practice the old-age proverb: "Silence is golden."

However, E! Online claimed it's just fair that Samuel Jackson and Victoria Beckham seem distant since they might not have a lot to talk about. The "Spice Girls" member may not have seen his movie "Snakes on a Plane" and Jackson made not be a fan of the "Spice Girls." Who knows?

Also, the six-second video created by sbnation's Brian Floyd speaks of total awkwardness. The pair appears to be casting cautious side glances at each other. Both were shifting on their seats with Jackson scratching his head. Beckham is also seated at a safe distance from Jackson, a complete opposite if compared to other Wimbledon spectators sitting above them.

Obviously, the allegations based on the photo captured at the Wimbledon and the video have irked Samuel Jackson. And what better way to comment on these rumours than on Tweeter.

Lotta Bullshit goin' round, I had a ball sitting next to @victoriabeckham at Wimbledon yesterday! Truly Lovely!STFU!!

According to the 65-year old actor, the whole incident is nothing but an allegation based on a photo and a six-second video, which has gone out of context to create misleading information.

However, when perceived at the impression E! Online has created, Samuel Jackson and Victoria Beckham did appear rather edgy at the Wimbledon based on both the photo and the video.
